the March of Dimes
We had such a great time at the March of Dimes walk today. The weather was amazing! After the walk, we took Ayla to University City (Delmar Loop) and had lunch at Fitz's- oh man, it was so good! That was Ayla's first time at a restaurant. We finished the day by eating ice cream at Fritz's in O'fallon and we took Chino. Ayla and Chino were very popular with all the kids there! It was a great day. Thanks to Amy and Cigna for inviting us to be a part of their team, and thanks to mom for coming to walk with us. A very BIG thank you to all who donated! That was so nice of you all!

my little lady
Ayla is getting so big and changing so much! Is it possible to love anything more than I love her? She is so amazing.
She smiles more than ever, loves to be read to. She is so intrigued with the pictures in the books. She shoves her fist in her mouth now and slobbers all over it. We think she loves daycare. They send home a paper telling about her day. She watches bubbles, sticks out her tongue at Miss Ellen, and even painted her first picture with her feet! It's hanging on our refrigerator. Ayla also loves her daddy so much and smiles big at him. She has also been sleeping through the night for a while now- at least 7 1/2 hours but has slept as much as 9 and 10 hours in a night. She takes her bedtime bottle then I usually wake her up at 5 am to eat before I get ready for work. It's been great! I look so forward to coming home from work and seeing her. She just brings so much joy to our lives.

Ayla's swimsuit
Daddy picked out Ayla's swimsuit today for when we go to Florida with friends in a month. Ayla loves it!
Also, Gus was out of town for a week and sent a special picture to Ayla from Florida.
